About the Organization
Appalachia Service Project, Inc. (ASP) is a Christian ministry, open to all people, that that inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair and replacement in Central Appalachia. ASP is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Using the skills and efforts of thousands of volunteers, ASP provides home repair and replacement to low-income households in Central Appalachia.

About the Position
The Vice President of Field Operations oversees the regional implementation of ASP's housing programs across the five-state service area, ensuring the quality, safety, and effectiveness of all construction-related ministries. This includes quality control in construction, volunteer hosting, and spiritual programming. The position directly supervises Regional Directors of Service Hubs and the Construction Coordinator, and works in close partnership with the Peak Mobilization, Disaster Recovery & Resilience, Spiritual Programs, and Volunteer Management teams to ensure seamless, high-quality service delivery for homeowners, volunteers, and community partners. The VP also cultivates regional partnerships, represents ASP at community events, and ensures grant compliance to support long-term program sustainability. This position reports to the Chief Programs Officer.
Job Responsibilities
Overall Program Management
Maintain overall responsibility for achieving program goals across all housing service operations-including volunteer-led and subcontracted Home Repair, New Construction, and Disaster Recovery-ensuring work meets quality standards, stays on schedule and within budget, and fulfills all grant and compliance requirements.
Provide program leadership over regional housing hubs, developing program parameters based on unique community needs.
Ensure systems streamline quality performance while mitigating risk and maximizing safety.
Analyze volunteer, homeowner, and staff feedback to inform program adjustments.
Represent ASP's field programs at fraternal organization meetings, community gatherings, conferences and public events as needed.
Coordinate with Peak Mobilization, Disaster Recovery & Resilience, Spiritual Programs, and Volunteer Management teams to ensure seamless service delivery, a positive volunteer experience, and effective cross-departmental communication.
Construction Quality Control and Safety
Ensure all construction work meets high quality standards and complies with building codes.
Oversee safety protocols and risk mitigation systems across field operations.
Monitor construction practices to ensure excellence in home repair and construction.
Case Management and Community Development
Oversee strategic case management processes across regional programs.
Ensure proper, respectful and accurate communication with prospective and current clients.
Ensure collection and maintenance of required paperwork, pictures and records for all cases and projects.
Build upon current partnerships for volunteers, funders, contractors, and community support.
Lead strategic community development initiatives in program areas.
Financial Management and Program Sustainability
Ensure all activities are fully resourced and remain within budget.
Assist in creating annual program budget for field operations.
Ensure financial accounting and reporting is accurately processed.
Assist in program-specific fundraising and grant writing as needed.
Grant Performance and Compliance
Ensure performance expectations and reporting from funding sources are met.
Oversee grant compliance and deliverables for field programs.
Staff Management
Ensure a staff structure that allows for efficient delegation of tasks.
Provide meaningful, constructive, and positive feedback to staff regularly.
Help foster an environment for open communication among staff.
Administrative
Ensure maintenance of documentation for each family, home, project, and grant.
Ensure program procedure manuals are kept up to date.
Seek out applicable training opportunities to enhance skill and knowledge.
Prepare for and participate in ongoing evaluation processes.
Other
Stay current on trends and best practices in volunteer management, disaster recovery, home repair and construction management, and faith-based service.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor and anything else that contributes to the smooth running operation of ASP.

Required:
Volunteer construction, home repair, or disaster recovery experience
Desire to work in a Christian environment
Experience with high-production model of service/program deployment
10+ years successful supervisory experience
Successful management of multi-million-dollar budgets
Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired:
Education or equivalent experience in related field: Business Administration, Construction Management, Program Management.
Experience with ASP or other similar mission focused organization
Construction licensure or field experience
Experience living/working in rural or Appalachian contexts
Grant compliance experience
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license and motor vehicle record acceptable to ASP's insurer

Program Overview:
In partnership with Tennessee's Department of Children's Services (DCS), Youth Villages provides family-centered, strength-based services to youth from birth to age 18 through the Family Service Worker (FSW) program. Focused on delivering case management services, custodial families are referred by other DCS program areas, juvenile courts, or self-referral. Staff provide on-call crisis support, identify services and resources tailored to each family's unique needs, and utilize formal and informal assessments for case planning. Goals include increasing stability, strengthening relationships, building self-sufficiency, and enhancing well-being and permanency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Family Service Worker:
Carries a caseload of 15 to 20 cases
Serves as a youth's guardian and must be aware of DCS policies that guide care and services
Creates and monitors permanency plans so that adequate services and assistance are provided to youth and families
Delivers services in the family's home or wherever they need us (school, court, etc.)
Provides on-call crisis support to the youth and family (schedules vary by location)
Ensures all medical, dental, and educational needs are met and accurately documented
Attends 3 weekly meetings (individual, team, and clinical consultation) for professional development to help enhance clinical skills
Completes accurate and timely documentation in an electronic medical record system (EMR)
Performs other duties as assigned
Additional Information:
Schedule is flexible and non-traditional as it is based around the availability of youth and families served.
Applicants must possess a current, valid driver's license, an automobile for work purposes, and proof of auto insurance.
Community-based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage.

$52,000 - $60,000 based on education and clinical license

Master's degree in a social services discipline (preferred)

While much of the work will be done on foot, River Clean-Up Leaders and Crew Members will also work in boats (rafts, jon boats, canoes, etc.) provided by MountainTrue. River Clean-Up team leaders and Crew Members must be prepared for strenuous tasks including the frequent lifting and moving of objects up to (and sometimes exceeding) 50 pounds, bending, stooping, standing, or sitting for long periods of time.
Collected garbage will be bagged and/or collected and disposed of properly with equipment (trucks, dump trailers, etc.), along with rented dumpsters and other items.
Mountain True will provide the necessary tools and equipment to pick up and remove trash and debris.
Minimum Qualifications:
18 Years of age or older
Prior experience with litter clean-ups, especially in, on, and around rivers, boating experience, chainsaw and power tool use, and driving trailers are helpful skills, but not required.
Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Access to sturdy work clothes

Purpose: This position is responsible for providing direct service to patients in the form of primarily group and individual therapy (as needed) in substance use disorder outpatient setting.

Duties: The Counselor will provide treatment and casework services to the patient as directed by the Regional Clinical Director in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and with ReVIDA's policies and procedures. Provide timely documentation of patient services based on the plan of care. Identify assigned patients' other physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. Manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner by the company's budget.
Physical and Work Conditions:
· Work is sedentary and ambulant with occasional physical exertion (lifting 30 or more pounds, walking, standing, etc.) ability to support patient weight in case of emergency or disability requiring assistance.
· Must be able to see, stoop, sit, stand, bend, reach, and be mobile (whether natural or with accommodation). Quality of hearing (whether honest or with capacity) must be acceptable.

· Must be able to relate to and work with mentally and physically ill, disabled, emotionally upset, and hostile patients as needed.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
o Must be willing to seek licensure in each state (Tennessee or Virginia Licensure)

o Display excellence in own work, including documentation, relationships with patients, and ability to work with others
