The Pottery Specialist will be responsible for designing and facilitating age appropriate curriculum centered around the basics of ceramic art. The specialist will create their program to span two weeks per session. There will be multiple two week sessions over the course of the Summer. The specialist will introduce campers to various techniques creating ceramic art while thoroughly and safely engaging the campers artistic curiosity.
The ideal candidate should have strong classroom management skills and must be able to implement a well-rounded art curriculum for youth ages 6 - 11. They should also be able to use and demonstrate the usage of multiple techniques, styles, and mediums of art.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare for and deliver up to 12 weeks of camp programming, including creating supply lists, curriculum development and teaching daily lessons
* Implement an interactive, age-appropriate curriculum
* Support camper drop-off and pick-up processes
