Both companies are wholly owned subsidiaries of Anthem, Inc. In his roles he is responsible for commercial strategy, network contracting, provider relations, care management, client services, sales, marketing, pricing, product development and underwriting functions of group and individual accounts, as well as advancing commercial regulatory compliance and legislative matters for Empire's Commercial lines of business. Immediately prior to his current position, Schreiber served as the President of Anthem Blue Cross Blue Cross Blue Cross Blue Shield in Wisconsin where he engineered a strategic turnaround for the company’s group health block of business through provider collaboration and improvements in retention and sales while advancing market share. Schreiber is a graduate of the University of Tampa, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management with a minor in Management Information Systems, and the Executive Leadership Training Program at the Wharton School of Business.
