In 1963, 60 intrepid individuals pooled their enthusiasm and determination to create a small cooperative.
The ULARCO group was founded in 1965 in Arrasate-Mondragón and was made up of Ulgor (the now defunct Fagor Electrodomésticos), Arrasate, Copreci, Ederlan and Fagor Electrónica.
In 1987 the Fagor Group was created and Ederlan S. Coop., along with 3 other cooperatives (Ulgor, Arrasate, and Copreci) are incorporated into the group, calling itself Fagor Ederlan since then.
FagorEderlan S.Coop., central axis of the company, has gone from 60 to almost 2000 worker-owners, making us the largest cooperative within the Fagor Group, and largest number of members within the Mondragon Corporation industrial group.

Due to large order volumes, the expansion of the Markina factory began in 2000.
In 2003 the group welcomes its first foundry and production plant in Extrema (Minas Gerais), Fagor Ederlan Brasileira.
The firm’s commitment to the great Asian market, as well as the significant buying and purchasing ties with that country, led to the decision to go a step further and invest in a complete production facility that was inaugurated in 2008.
In 2014 the Fagor EDERLAN Taldea business project is approved.
The new service plant is operational from the beginning of 2022.
