Responsibilities:
Maintain company standards to ensure high-quality service
Build relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat purchasing
Navigate proprietary software to process and/or modify 45 emailed and/or web submitted orders daily
Manage Custom Rug requests within 24-48 hours of submission
Manage Warehouse Transfer requests within 2 business days of submission
Issue return authorizations and process credits, along with rebills to resolve shipping discrepancies within 24-48 hours of submission
Complete new account setups within 24-48 hours of submission
Process an average 15-20 new accounts per day
Identify, assess, and maintain a follow-up on the customer, whose query you have solved, ensuring they are satisfied with the outcome
Maintain an average 90% QA Score monthly for orders processed
Payment processing via multiple processing platforms
Attend required departmental meetings
Coordinate with internal departments to find solutions and resolve matters
Provide customers/Reps with accurate shipping quotes and services
Possess the ability to organize and maintain a positive & productive work environment as well as an organized and clean work area
Qualifications:
Excellent organization skills
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Requirements:

Summary/Objective:
The Astros Golf Foundation, proud host organization of Houston's PGA TOUR event, the Texas Children's Houston Open, is seeking a Tournament Operations Intern to support our team in preparation for this marquee tournament. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting with the planning and execution of the on-site course build, working closely with tournament vendors, and hands-on event support. Sports Broadcast Operations Intern- Spring 2026

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP Are you a student aspiring for a career working in broadcast or live production? Do you have experience working on live broadcasts and solving problems in real time? Have you always dreamed of working in sports? If you answered yes, we have just the opportunity for you this spring as an intern with SportsMedia Technology's Operations team!
The Sports Broadcast Operations Intern will be exposed to all elements of our operations department. This includes the completion of SMT's internal Certification Training program, traveling to support at least 1 remote event and supporting events from our remote production studio. As an intern bring broadcast experience and knowledge to the team, you will apply your abilities to our systems, broadcast, and other operations focused teams.
This is an on-site spring internship, averaging 20-30 hours a week. Pay for this internship is $14.50/hour. Interns will report to our Durham Director of Operations.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT SMT
* Enhancing product value through product knowledge and advanced communication with clients
* Handling Data entry and cleanup of CRM tools
* Providing excellent, client-focused customer service
* Working on live sports broadcasts
* Troubleshooting equipment and Software
* Becoming familiar with event specific SMT products (hardware, software, policies)

Plant Operations SpecialistThe Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring quality assurance and the production team meets scheduled goals. This entails a range of oversight of work including ensuring production plans are optimal to meet sales demand and optimize production, track availability of raw materials, ensure production plans are executed for maximum performance, and adherence of material flow process through manufacturing systems. Other duties include the development of cost-effective measures with the aim of achieving exceptional business practices.
Essential Functions
Ensure quality assurance throughout the production process
Liaison between the Supply Chain planning and raw material replenishment teams so that production goals are met
Ensure optimal production plan, track raw material deliveries and availability to support production runs, and oversee execution locally of production activities
Develop cost-effective measurements to track performance and achieve exceptional business practices
Manage changes in the production plan and ensure all plant team members are aligned to ensure successful execution
Ensure both RM and FG inventories are systematically updated and up-to-date
Ensure proper injection & batching liquid consumption and completions
Ensure proper FG systematic completions and end of run reconciliations within 24 hrs of work order completion
Report out and assist in reconciling any RM or FG discrepancies
Develop action plan to address scorecard performance and lead teams to execute action items stemming from those results
Assist in audits of inventory processes related to shipping and receiving
Point of contact for inventory reporting requirements from customer or HQ (corporate headquarters)
Support plant continuous improvement processes by collaboration with all plant management team and HQ to drive process improvement and compliance
Utilize data-driven, structured problem-solving tools, including Six Sigma to improve process capability, reduce variation and optimize performance. Impart these tools to the work teams as appropriate
