About the Program
Kaweah Health Medical Center is a level III 435\-bed teaching hospital that has the volume and resources of a Level II trauma center, with 2,200 annual trauma activations and a thriving General Surgery Residency Program. The trauma and ACS teams work in close partnership with intensivists to deliver seamless, high\-acuity care.
The Role
The Trauma APP provides inpatient, consultative, and perioperative care as part of a collaborative trauma team that includes attending surgeons, residents, and intensivists.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide daytime coverage for trauma and ACS services (10\-hour shifts)
· Two APP's per day.
· Assist in surgical ward and ICU management
· Conduct ER consults, postoperative care, and discharge planning
