JOB SUMMARY
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Critical Care Flex Team will be cross-trained to provide services in various ICUs and related high-acuity inpatient services at Clements University Hospital. The APP will be assigned a home critical care unit in the CVICU and rotate to other ICUs to cover longer-term scheduling gaps. To maintain competency in the variety of critical care settings, the Critical Care Flex APP will maintain a rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekend, and holiday coverage.
One Year Critical Care APP Fellowship or Residency required.

Required
Education
Master's degree or higher in nursing, documentation of completion of accredited Advanced Practice Education Program. Graduate education and related Texas Board of Nursing authorization must be consistent with clinical practice area and patient population.
Acute Care Certification Required. OR
Graduate of a Master's degree or higher. Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.
Licenses and Certifications
Licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State Board of Nursing. Authorization for prescriptive authority by the Texas Board of Nursing. OR

JOB DUTIES
