To fulfill this need, Patty founded the California Child Care Resource & Referral Network in 1980.
She was the Executive Director until 2012, when she retired.
The most significant of the organization's distinctions was the approval by the California Public Utilities Commission in 2014 designating FRRC as the provider of 211 Information and Referral Services for San Joaquin County.
Since the launch of 2-1-1 San Joaquin in 2015, the call center has received more than 15,000 calls, and the 211sj.org website has had more than 50,000 page hits by more than 10,000 users.
