Fayette County Community Action Agency is a non-profit organization that has been serving Fayette County residents since 1966.
Fayette County Community Action Agency was formed by a group of dedicated and concerned Fayette County citizens in 1966.
1966: FCCAA was incorporated.
1971: FCCAA establishes the Home Delivered Meals program.
1974: The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program was introduced and began in Fayette County.
Fayette WIC was one of the first WIC programs in PA. 1981: FCCAA began housing services and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
2003: The Food Bank celebrates its 20th anniversary.
2004: FCCAA is recognized with the prestigious “Award for Excellence in Community Action” by the Community Action Partnership.
2017: The Circles Laurel Highlands program was initiated.
2020: Fairchance Senior Housing will be completed in the fall.
