Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Parcel Assistant is to move packages throughout the facility. Incumbent will be required to safely perform assigned tasks while meeting predetermined standards. In this flexible position, the incumbent will rotate into several areas to perform tasks including loading, unloading, palletizing, scanning, quality assurance assessment, moving items with a forklift and operating a switcher as assigned by Dock Manager or Lead Parcel Sorter. This is a part-time position. Available hours are based on business needs, but typically range from 15-25 hours per week.
Must be willing to work full time during peak season, November - December. Saturday or Sunday work maybe required along with evening and overnight shifts. The flexibility to work full time during busy seasons is required.
Sort Observation Description:
Individuals who are interested in being considered for a Parcel Assistant position are required to attend a sort observation before completing an employment application. Minimum Education

Minimum Experience
Four (4) years fleet, automotive or truck vehicle advanced technical repair and maintenance experience. Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the use and operation of all equipment and testing equipment, gauges and tools normally associated with the troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic, gasoline, diesel, electric, and/or hybrid motorized equipment. Proficient skills in operating a personal computer. Demonstration of teamwork and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Job Conditions
Possession of basic set of automotive hand tools including metric sizes. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and maneuver any weight above 50 pounds with assistance on a regular basis. Ability to work without supervision for extended time periods. Must be able to work in noisy, non-air-conditioned/heated work area. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be willing to work any shift. Must possess a valid driver's license in state of residence. Job Description:
Seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our outstanding fleet maintenance team. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for maintaining a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers. These vehicles' propulsion systems include diesel, gasoline, and alternative technologies such as compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas, propane, hybrid, and electrical in some locations.
Automotive Technicians must be skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining various systems, including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.
Automotive Technicians must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including Monday through Friday, Sunday through Thursday as well as Tuesday through Saturday schedules, depending on the location's need. Automotive Technicians must possess the required hand tools required to perform the applicable job assignment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Meets D.O.T requirements required by job assignment
Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday
Sits infrequently, as required, throughout duration of workday
Exercises simple hand grasping, power hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, and reaching from foot level to above shoulder level as necessary to complete assigned tasks

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay for this position is $338.46 per hour. For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions.
