At first I felt like I was an appreciated asset. GOBS of overtime.
The biggest con of working there is that the owners have completely disassociated unrealistic expectations and their bottom line is revenue and not mindful consideration of the people in the trenches who actually make it happen. Their revenue is their backbone instead of ANY feedback/input from the many skilled 25+years-on-the-job technicians on their payroll for other than just a brief consideration. Effective communication is the exception, instead of protocol. Their procedural misconceptions, impulsive itineraries and oversights cost them a TON of unnecessary work and staggering losses of profit.
When I got terminated because it felt like a great weight had been lifted off of my shoulders!!
The foremen actually work. They all are the catalyst that fuels the train-wreck at Ferriot no matter how much they get put in the middle by the ineptitude of the clown ownership
It is a lost cause. It is purely due to arrogant pride and a blatant lack of common sense bc their money is so big. I would not recommend to my worst enemy to work there.
I prepared for an interview at Ferriot by electronically submitting my application
In my experience the compensation offered is WELL below the industry average; especially for how many hats you have to wear every day.
Most of my fellow employees there were simply a joy to work with
Personally the most fulfilling aspect of working there WAS GETTING FIRED!
