**Field Service Engineer**
**Location: Remote/Travelling - Based in Dallas-Fort Worth Area and within an hour of the DFW Airport preferred. Will consider based in Houston within an hour or IAH. This person will be responsible for servicing customers across the U.S. but primarily in TX, OK, NM, LA, MS. We do not offer relocation assistance for this role.**
The Field Service Engineer (FSE) services our Metal Detection, X-Ray and Checkweighing products at Loma's customer sites throughout the U.S. (primarily Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, and Illinois). The FSE does so in a manner consistent with Loma Systems policies and procedures while delivering exceptional customer service and promoting Loma Systems as the best in class operator.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Travel and deliver efficient field support to our customers in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
+ Verify that machines are operating at peak efficiency by proper calibration and testing.
+ Commission and test machines using certified test procedures, perform preventative maintenance and emergency service at customer sites.
+ Accurately document and report all service related activities. These include, but are not limited to submitting Electronic Service Reports, Calibration Reports and Expense Reports at appropriate intervals per company established procedures.
+ Promote sales of additional Loma product offerings such as service contracts, new equipment leads, spare parts kits, etc.
+ Provide timely feedback on equipment reliability and design.
+ Maintain a satisfactory parts inventory and requisition additional parts required to perform normal FSE duties.
+ Maintain all company property, including laptop, cell phone, safety equipment and tools in good working condition.
+ Exercise safe working practices and procedures at all times.
+ Conduct on-site training with customer's personnel to ensure proper operation of equipment.
+ Hold meetings with customers, including scope and exit meetings.
+ Participate in the rotation of weekend on-call duties and after-hours phone support.
+ At Loma's team environment, frequently communicate between the field and the internal office support staff on technical related issues.
+ Attend refresher training classes and FSE meetings with other service team members to promote continuous improvement of technical and non-technical skillsets.
+ In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by their supervisor that are essentially related to their duties.
**Requirements:**
+ High school diploma required. Associates degree from a technical school preferred.
+ Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a technical capacity or 4 years of military experience required. Field travel experience preferred.
+ Knowledge of and experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electro-mechanical equipment and ability to identify root-cause.
+ Take pride in being organized with regards to completion of paperwork, expense reports, etc.
+ Must be self-motivated with an inner drive to exceed expectations.
+ Ability to read, comprehend and interpret complex technical information involving mechanics and electronics. This includes interpretation of schematics and electrical diagrams.
+ Professional communication with an ability to resolve customer issues and defuse conflict.
+ Must be capable of a desire to learn a diverse set of products and continually improving product knowledge
+ Strong ability to use electronic test equipment such as Multi-meters.
+ Ability to accept changes in a fast paced and changing environment; enjoy taking a hands-on approach in solving problems.
+ Work independently with little supervision while managing difficult and high-pressure customer situations.
+ Proficient with office software applications required.
+ Ability to work overtime and weekends.
**Physical & Environmental Requirements:**
+ Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
+ Must be able to travel extensively (80% or more approximately) as required to service our customers.
+ Must be able to work within tight spaces and environments that may be noisy, odorous, dusty, cold and hot on a regular basis.
+ Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. regularly.
+ Must be able to stand for long periods of time as well as walk, twist, bend, kneel, crawl, crouch, reach, climb and work in awkward positions on a regular basis.

Maintain clear, effective, and professional communication with property managers, tenants, and internal teams.
This position requires daily travel to the job sites with a company-provided vehicle.
Qualifications:

Position Overview
The Environmental FieldTechnician will engage in wastewater, groundwater, leachate, stormwater, soil, drinking water, and surface water monitoring and sample collection activities. Upon completion of the training program, the Environmental FieldTechnician will work on monitoring and sampling projects on a variety of matrices at facilities throughout the Midwest. Under the direction of the Groundwater and/or the Wastewater Field Manager, the technician will follow standard procedures for data and sample collection to ensure representative data is collected to meet EMT, client, and regulatory specifications. The Environmental FieldTechnician must follow protocols and procedures to ensure work is completed in a safe and ethical manner to exceed our client's expectations. The groundwater and wastewater field services provided supports a variety of clientele including consulting and engineering firms, private industry, and governmental agencies operating under many different environmental rules and regulations.
Specific Duties Of The Position
Maintains quality standards in accordance with EMT Standard Operating Procedures, NEFAP Standard and relevant sampling and analysis standards.
Perform water quality monitoring using field instrumentation for indicator parameters
Collect wastewater, groundwater, leachate, stormwater, soil, surface water, and drinking water samples in accordance with standard operating procedures. Conduct sampling and measurement activities in accordance with EMT policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot flow measurement, monitoring, and sampling equipment.
Collect and document accurate and defensible data.
Install and operate automated wastewater sampling equipment
Install and operate automated stormwater sampling equipment
Install and operate flow measurement instrumentation.
Perform confined space entries to install and maintain monitoring equipment.
Review and interpret data to identify trends and anomalies.
Documentation of all field activities sufficient to historically reconstruct all field activities.
Communicate effectively with team members and project management staff to ensure field activities exceeds client expectations and quality data generated. Confer with project managers to coordinate operations and activities in accordance with the contracted scope of work.
Interact with clients and/or their project engineer/consultant to ensure project specifications are met.
Adequately prepare and deliver or ship samples to EMT or our partner laboratories.
Report writing summarizing field activities.
Perform landfill gas monitoring and flare gas sampling.
Conduct surface scan monitoring for ground emissions.
Strictly adhere to EMT data integrity and ethics policy.
Strictly adhere to EMT safety policies and procedures.
Travel to client facilities which can include overnight stays.
Work weekends on a rotational basis.
Such other tasks as may be assigned from time to time consistent with the objectives of the position.
Requirements
Physical Requirements of the Position
Must be able to work in conditions where limited access is available requiring hiking and manual transport of field equipment to monitoring locations.
Must pass a pre-employment physical.
Must be able to lift and/or carry heavy equipment, coolers, etc. that weigh up to fifty (50) pounds using correct and safe lifting techniques.
Must be able to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for the position.

Position Overview
The Environmental FieldTechnician will engage in wastewater, groundwater, leachate, stormwater, soil, drinking water, and surface water monitoring and sample collection activities. Upon completion of the training program, the Environmental FieldTechnician will work on monitoring and sampling projects on a variety of matrices at facilities throughout the Midwest. Under the direction of the Groundwater and/or the Wastewater Field Manager, the technician will follow standard procedures for data and sample collection to ensure representative data is collected to meet EMT, client, and regulatory specifications. The Environmental FieldTechnician must follow protocols and procedures to ensure work is completed in a safe and ethical manner to exceed our client's expectations. The groundwater and wastewater field services provided supports a variety of clientele including consulting and engineering firms, private industry, and governmental agencies operating under many different environmental rules and regulations.
Specific Duties Of The Position
Maintains quality standards in accordance with EMT Standard Operating Procedures, NEFAP Standard and relevant sampling and analysis standards.
Perform water quality monitoring using field instrumentation for indicator parameters
Collect wastewater, groundwater, leachate, stormwater, soil, surface water, and drinking water samples in accordance with standard operating procedures. Conduct sampling and measurement activities in accordance with EMT policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot flow measurement, monitoring, and sampling equipment.
Collect and document accurate and defensible data.
Install and operate automated wastewater sampling equipment
Install and operate automated stormwater sampling equipment
Install and operate flow measurement instrumentation.
Perform confined space entries to install and maintain monitoring equipment.
Review and interpret data to identify trends and anomalies.
Documentation of all field activities sufficient to historically reconstruct all field activities.
Communicate effectively with team members and project management staff to ensure field activities exceeds client expectations and quality data generated. Confer with project managers to coordinate operations and activities in accordance with the contracted scope of work.
Interact with clients and/or their project engineer/consultant to ensure project specifications are met.
Adequately prepare and deliver or ship samples to EMT or our partner laboratories.
Report writing summarizing field activities.
Perform landfill gas monitoring and flare gas sampling.
Conduct surface scan monitoring for ground emissions.
Strictly adhere to EMT data integrity and ethics policy.
Strictly adhere to EMT safety policies and procedures.
Travel to client facilities which can include overnight stays.
Work weekends on a rotational basis.
Such other tasks as may be assigned from time to time consistent with the objectives of the position.
Requirements:
Physical Requirements of the Position
Must be able to work in conditions where limited access is available requiring hiking and manual transport of field equipment to monitoring locations.
Must pass a pre-employment physical.
Must be able to lift and/or carry heavy equipment, coolers, etc. that weigh up to fifty (50) pounds using correct and safe lifting techniques.
Must be able to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for the position.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel; talk or hear; and smell.
Must be able to work in all types of varying weather conditions.
Must be able to safely work in industrial, solid waste and construction settings.
Must be able to safely work around chemicals.
Personal and Professional Credentials
Bachelor's Degree Preferred.

Due to Client requirements for facility on-site access, background checks are required.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must be able to be insured by EMT's insurance carrier to drive company vehicles safely and effectively. In addition, the ability to drive off road vehicles is required.
Base Pay is $17.25/h.

Minimum Qualifications: to qualify for consideration, you must meet the following minimum qualifications and requirements.

· Prefer a bachelor's in Electrical Engineering OR an Associate's degree/technologist diploma from an accredited two -year technical college
· Must have general PC skills, including email, internet, data entry, and Microsoft Excel

Job Description
The Phlebotomist Technician will:
Perform and process specimen collection including venipuncture and capillary draws, blood cultures, heel or finger sticks, POC testing, ECG exams and special techniques for difficult, pediatric or geriatric patients. Utilizing a variety of reports to complete or cancel/discharge specimens in the electronic medical record system to ensure compliant billing. Escalating issues to leadership where results are not crossing over into the medical record. Provide customer service to physicians which may involve retrieving test results from Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and/or NMH databases . Dispose of potentially hazardous material according to protocol. Stock and monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and notify management of shortages. Perform ECG exams per physician orders for transmittal to NM Cardiology interpretation Perform all other duties that may be assigned in the best interest of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.

Reports directly to the Supervisor, Laboratory
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
High school diploma or equivalent. Certification from an accredited medical phlebotomy program, medical assistant program or equivalent. A minimum of one year of experience performing phlebotomy on a broad range of patient types in a hospital setting and ECG experience preferred. Prior work experience in pathology, laboratory support or health-related position. Familiarly with medical terminology, billing and coding preferred. Ability to effectively use a personal computer and working knowledge to perform data entry and analysis. Experience with Cerner and Epic Healthcare Information system a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact with physicians, nurses, patients and other internal and external customers in various circumstances. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting in order to maximize quality and efficiently of operations.
Working Conditions
Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.
