We currently have an Embedded Installation Technician opening for team-oriented individuals possessing vocational training in electronics or electromechanical engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for providing service on our products at customer sites. The position provides customer contact for all post-installation problems on security systems and equipment, as well as, special project work, when needed.
Responsibilities
Services intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
Performs scheduled, routing preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working order.
Completes maintenance, within assigned hours, in a manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving the goal of zero call backs.
Assists with the start-up of new equipment or system installation and adjusts as needed to ensure the system is operational
May plan schedules, lay out basic electrical equipment installations, and assist in the start-up and check-out of new systems installations
Presents a professional image both in personal and vehicle appearance.
Performs work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost limits.
Promotes, builds, and maintains good customer relations and assists with contract retention.
Maintains company propriety and documentation in accordance with established policies; handles proprietary information in the prescribed manner; adheres to and supports Securitas Technology policies and procedures including all safety requirements.
Keeps abreast of changes and new developments in products and technology.
Attends and completes training programs as requested.
Minimum Requirements
MUST HOLD a minimum of 1-2 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, access control, and CCTV security systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred.
A thorough knowledge and understanding of intrusion detection systems, electronic access control, CCTV, IP video, Surveillance systems and life safety systems.
Lenel, Matrix, DMP certifications preferred.
DMP system knowledge preferred.
IP Video and IT experience preferred.
Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in height.
Avigilon, March Networks and AXIS Camera knowledge.
Carry items up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after hours & weekend emergency calls.
A valid state driver's license, without restrictions, is required.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a key member of the LDAR team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
Conduct routine leak inspections of industrial piping and tank components using a backpack-mounted organic vapor meter
Maintain a basic understanding of air quality rules and regulations
Maintain good public relations with clients
Report all environmental and safety issues to client and Regional Manager
Maintain all Company equipment in good condition
Remain current on all Montrose and client safety training and policies
Report all safety or compliance irregularities to the Client and to the Regional Manager
Maintains the company vehicle including cleaning, minor repairs, oil changes, etc., and document each activity in the Vehicle Maintenance Log
Reports all incidents that affect "normal routines," including, but not limited to accidents, injuries, equipment failures or breakage, scheduled activities and client relationships to the Regional Manager
Performs daily vehicle checks and required routine maintenance of field vehicles, and document using the Vehicle Maintenance Log if applicable
Properly uses the fuel card, and correctly and accurately reports odometer readings when fueling vehicle, if applicable
Maintains all field equipment in good condition
Reports all non-working equipment to the Regional Manager and prepares Incident Report
Represents the company in a professional manner, including personal habits, dress codes and communication skills
Attends all required Safety meetings
Checks in and checks out as required for all locations
Demonstrates knowledge of safety procedures
Immediately reports all work-related accidents and incidents to the site superintendent, Regional Manager and Field Safety Coordinator
Prepares Near Hit/Hazard Reports as required by the Safety Manager or specific job site
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma/GED
Ability to work a 9/80 schedule
Ability to work independently
Experience in industrial or mechanical maintenance, laboratory or related experience preferred
Proficient math and chemistry principles
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with proven time management and prioritization skills
Knowledge of air quality regulations
Pass pre-employment drug and background test screenings
Valid driver's license
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of computer software, such as MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be able to exert moderate physical effort, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights
Ensure the company policies, standards and procedures are adhered to at all times
Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight and weekends if necessary
Ability to work in industrial settings, outdoor and/or at elevated heights

Performs all lab assistant procedures (including, but not limited to, phlebotomy, client processing, and client services representative functions) and oversees such staff under the guidelines and supervision of the assigned Leader to assure appropriate patient care is met. Responsible for monitoring, rotating stock, or requesting general laboratory and phlebotomy supplies as needed. Assists in specimen processing/handling, collection, and designated testing functions in all areas of the lab.
Responsibilities:

Customer Service / AIDET / Standards of Behavior.
Trains and performs competency checklist with all Phlebotomist/ laboratory assistant staff.
Monitors the collection report; resolves problems; completes related paperwork and computer functions.
Uses centrifuge, prepares and assures serum/blood specimens are acceptable; prepares specimen for referral to outside reference laboratories; dispenses blood products under supervision of medical technologist.
Monitoring the collection area continuously during the shift to assure that all specimens are collected within a timely manner and assisting the phlebotomists in obtaining specimens, if necessary.
Handling inquiries, questions and problems as they arise, both within the laboratory and between the lab and other departments in the hospital, maintaining a professional image and exhibiting excellent service. Greets all customers, clients, outpatients, and visitors physically or on the telephone; provides accurate, appropriate, and courteous response to technical questions and results inquiry as requested by physicians and nursing personnel.
Communicating follow-up information regarding patient care issues or physician related complaints to the appropriate supervisor, manager, charge tech or director.
Performs clerical office duties, client processing, and client service representative duties, as assigned/required.
Enters orders and cancellations using Hospital LIS. Receives and processes specimens collected and/or add-on tests and distributes them to the appropriate departments.
Processes and maintains laboratory records and reports; monitors chart print rounds for completion and processes reports for Health Information, faxes or mails reports as requested by physicians or clients, processes reference reports, resolves all pending transactions, and maintains printers, copier, and fax machine.
Specimen collections are initiated within the appropriate response time. Monitors the collections pending. Reports and resolves problems, completes related paperwork and computer functions.
Works as a team member to perform and complete all patient related testing/reporting regardless of individual assignments, to provide timely results on a daily basis. Completes tasks or special projects within the time frame, allowed per any guidelines established as assigned by laboratory supervisory personnel.
Inventory control - monitors supply receiving area, distributes supplies, restocks, and processes packing slips; notifies appropriate supervisor/manager when instrument parts, reagents, or supplies are at reorder levels; dates reagents when received and opened according to laboratory policy, and notifies supervisor of expired reagents; completes supply orders, as assigned.
Practices safety, infection control, and security as defined by the hospital department and section policy and procedure manuals; follows all safety and infection control procedures including wearing appropriate PPE for assigned job functions; disposes of biohazardous materials and hazardous chemicals as established by departmental policy; all patient information, including lab results, are maintained in the strictest of confidence, limited to health care professionals needing this information to perform patient care.
Demonstrates work schedule flexibility by willingly rotating shifts and changing assignments, as required.
Job Requirements:
Education/Skills
Associate of Science Degree preferred.
Basic knowledge in the areas of microbiology, immunology or molecular biology and biochemistry as related to infectious diseases required.
Experience
2 years of experience as a Phlebotomist or Laboratory Assistant in a clinical laboratory setting required
5+ years of experience preferred.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification or Phlebotomist Certification - PBT (ASCP), RPT (AMT), CPT (NPA) or equivalent required. xevrcyc
Louisiana requires State Licensure.
