As a Field Manager in our Cincinnati Division, you will manage the construction and delivery of our new homes ensuring quality, timeliness, cost, and customer satisfaction. The Field Manager will serve as the primary contact for trade partners, customers, and internal associates for each home they are overseeing. The most rewarding part of this role is being able to look back on cul-de-sacs, streets, and ultimately neighborhoods and taking great pride in being the builder that created the community.

Identify and document all recurring rework items and notifies appropriate departments to ensure elimination from future homes.
Ensure budget, schedule, and quality standards are met and surpassed on each home.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with a concentration in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field.
Prior experience in project management or residential construction.
Physical demands and work environment:
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and walk on various types of terrain, including uneven surfaces, construction sites, and residential properties that may have mud, ruts, etc.
Must be able to utilize sensory skills (i.e. verbal communication) and technology (i.e. cellphone) to effectively communicate with other Associates and customers.
Must be able to perform movements such as bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, grasping, etc.
Must have the ability to climb permanent stairs, temporary stairs, and ladders.
Must have the physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting approximately 50 lbs. unassisted throughout the workday.
Must be able to endure and be exposed to different types of conditions, including weather (heat, cold, rain, ice, etc.) and substances such as dust, dirt, and fumes.
Must be able to properly use and wear protective gear provided including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel toed shoes, etc.
Must be able to travel to job sites regularly throughout the day.

The Paving Field Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of paving operations on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paving techniques, materials, equipment operation, team leadership, and safety protocols. The Paving Field Manager will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure the successful completion of paving projects within established timelines and quality standards. They will be responsible for supervising and directing assigned crew members in preparing, executing, and finishing asphalt paving projects.
This role is fast paced and requires someone who can take ownership of their work, make informed decisions, and coordinate with and direct the activities of all job site crews, subcontractors, and material and equipment providers. Additionally, the candidate must effectively interface with clients, inspectors, regulatory representatives, and other key individuals within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates technical proficiency in multiple aspects of asphalt paving.
Supervises hourly crewmembers and plans/schedules manpower and equipment as needed.
Manages deliveries from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure safety, profit, scheduling compliance and customer satisfaction.
Follows the Allan Myers Safety Program including preplanning to identify conditions and exposures, proper safety and personal protective equipment and accident investigation and reporting.
Coordinates and collaborates with other Field Managers, Superintendents, and the customer to implement successful project plans.
Provides on the job training to crewmembers for assigned tasks.
Communicates performance expectations for productivity, quality, and safety to crews and ensures progress towards expectations.
Administers timely and accurate documentation for project-related activities including change orders, time and materials, purchase orders, daily job control reports and receiving slips/invoices.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required (continuing education in construction highly desirable).
Minimum 2 years of construction experience in at least one trade discipline (i.e., excavation, pipe, concrete, or paving) with one or more years construction supervisory experience preferred.
OSHA 10 hour required.
Valid driver's license required
