Job Duties: - The Automation Tech Automation Tech (AT) will need to be someone who works well independently along with the ability to communicate well with others when working as a team. - Assembly includes general fabrication (drilling, tapping, cutting, welding, etc.), electrical wiring of motors and safety devices, conveyor assembly, robot programming, and prepping the machinery for shipment. The AT should be able to read and follow electrical and mechanical prints. - Reading, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical schematics. - General organization and good housekeeping obligations will be required. - Post Shipment duties will include working with the Regional Engineer and Automation Engineer to commission the system, debug any issues, and operation requirements based on corporate specifications. - Once the system is operational, the AT will then train several members of the facility's staff, to be able to operate and maintain the system after the AT's departure.
