Job Summary The Substation Foreman supervises and assists with the day-to-day activities of the substation employees and the project to which they are assigned, reports directly to Project Manager assigned to the project. The Foreman must be able to perform the various duties while on the job from Groundman to Leadman. Track and communicate weekly project report and generates 3 weeks look ahead. Ensure project materials and workmanship meets the project quality standards and design requirements. Initiate and conduct project meetings with staff assigned to the project and management if necessary. Review and address plan details, resolve issues before they result in added budget expenditures. Advise Superintendent of any potential problems, work interferences or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts. Enforce site specific plans and procedures that are in line with EEI's culture and safety requirements. Review and submit weekly time sheets to payroll for processing.
