Reporting to the Superintendent of Maintenance, the foreman assists in supervising maintenance personnel and overseeing vehicle repair and maintenance activities. Job duties include: Supervise vehicle repair and maintenance activities. Assign work to employees using Oracle. Review work orders for time and material usage. Monitor employee attendance. Respond to road calls. Provide instructions and on-the-job training to mechanics. Generate and review reports. Perform administrative duties. Update and maintain vehicle repair logs. Qualifications: Age: Must be 21 and over. Certifications/Licenses: Must have or able to obtain a Class A Illinois Commercial Driver's License with airbrake and passenger endorsements within 90 days of being hired. Assist with mold set up in the molding plant PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS: The incumbent will: Working in a clean manufacturing environment that may include moderate noise levels and will require spending a significant amount of time moving around on the manufacturing floor. Working in fumes, odors, dusts, oil, grease. Ability to stand and/or walk up to constantly during the shift. Lifting up to fifty lbs (50).
