Ability to validate the correctness of procedures. Select, set up and operate engineering and scientific equipment. Utilize various engineering and scientific drawings, manuals, and other related documentation in the performance of their tasks. May include configuration/data administration. Checks for work correctness. Train junior test technicians focusing on basic electronic principles and radio frequency theory of operations and troubleshooting methodology. Communicate technical issues by generating comprehensive failure entries which correlate failure modes back to the associated test specification(s) Interpret test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters) to choose pass/fail condition and resolve when further analysis is needed. Troubleshoot and accurately diagnose failures from system level to Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) down to Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) and to component. This will be a 3rd shift, onsite role in our Forest, MS facility. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training with minimum of 6 years relevant experience. Experience with troubleshooting electronic circuits to component level and effectively identify failure trends. Experience with Radio Frequency System and subsystem (Transmitter, Receiver, Antenna, Signal/Data Processor, Power Supply) evaluation. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer Experience with Radio Frequency or Electronic Warfare (EW) systems.
