Job Summary The Fort Dodge Community School District is seeking a reliable, flexible, and enthusiastic short-term substitute to fill in for an employee on leave. The duration of this assignment is estimated to last between 1 and 12 weeks, depending on the circumstances. This role will support students and/or staff by maintaining continuity in instruction, supervision, and/or operations in the absent employee's role. *This position is not benefits eligible. Essential Functions Deliver lessons and follow plans provided by the regular staff member (as applicable). Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive environment. Monitor student behavior and maintain classroom or work area expectations. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators. Follow school policies, procedures, and daily schedules. Participate in parent/teacher conferences to facilitate communication. Works with EL teacher to deliver the ELDA test. Maintain confidentiality with student information and student records.
