As a Stormwater Engineer at RK&K you will support local and statewide efforts in stormwater management and drainage design with an emphasis on scour, hydrology and hydraulics for transportation related projects. You will be responsible for the planning, designing, and implementation of effective drainage systems to ensure efficient conveyance and management of stormwater. Essential Functions Develop and deliver industry leading stormwater management strategies for transportation projects, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines Conduct drainage design activities, including the analysis of existing drainage systems, designing new drainage systems and ditches, and creating appropriate plans Utilize hydraulic modeling software such as ICPR4, SWMM, and HEC-RAS Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations related to drainage design and stormwater management Prepare permit sketches, construction documents, specifications and cost estimates as needed Perform scour analysis Perform field investigations to collect data, take field measurements, photographs, sketches, and verifying surveys Required Skills and Experience Minimum of Eight (8) years of experience as a Civil Engineer supporting transportation projects Professional Engineer (P.E.)
