Tony Jensen, age 57, was elected to the Board in October 2019. He is President and CEO of Royal Gold, Inc., a company engaged in the business of acquiring and managing precious metal streams, royalties, and similar interests, since 2006, and President and COO, from 2003 to 2006. Mr. Jensen has more than 35 years of experience in the mining industries where he held various roles in engineering, finance, strategic growth and operations. Mr. Boyd also serves on the Board of Directors for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation where he chairs the Granting, Impact and Stewardship Committee. He has served on the Board of the World Gold Council and as a member of the St. Francis Xavier University Board of Governors. Prior to joining Agnico Eagle in 1985, Mr. Boyd was a staff accountant with Clarkson Gordon (Ernst & Young). He is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA, FCA) and a graduate of the University of Toronto (B.Comm.).
