As our CFO, Mike brings NTS a new perspective on budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, and assuring the continued financial strength and stability as NTS grows. He supervises the finance unit and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization while providing operational and programmatic support. Mike provides our CEO and managers with operating budgets, and works with various leadership team members to ensure success through cost analysis support and compliance with all contractual and programmatic requirements. He also oversees the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization as well as purchasing and payroll activity. Mike brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to NTS. As a former CEO, he grew a professional architecture and engineering firm to over $40 million in revenue, built and empowered a top-notch leadership team, and positioned the firm for a successful sale. During his tenure at Hankins & Anderson (now known as Mason & Hanger), he rose through the ranks from staff engineer to President and CEO. He has held various professional affiliation positions including National Vice Chair the American Council of Engineering Companies. Mike has also served as President and National Director for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Virginia as well as Chair and Vice-Chair at the Virginia Council of CEOs. He has taught at the University of Richmond Graduate School of Business, the VSU School of Business and the VCU Executive MBA program.
