He studied Mathematics and Information Technology at the IT department at the Warsaw University of Technology. In his professional career he has been involved with companies such as: Telekomunikacja Polska S.A., COMP S.A. and Pacomp Sp. Z o.o. At COMP and Pacomp he designed and developed cryptography devices certified by the Internal Security Agency. He gained experience and knowledge working on the Central Cars and Drivers Database system for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration. He is an active contributor to an international FreeBSD project – an open source UNIX-like operating system, where he implements security related features such as hard drive encryption, kernel crypto framework, Security Event Auditing as well as storage resources management (ZFS file system, Highly Available Storage, RAID0/RAID1/RAID3). Coding for the FreeBSD project is his greatest passion.
