Unit Details:
The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center features 17,000 square feet of state-of-the-art design with technology and amenities for emergency care. Patients and visitors will immediately see a larger, brighter space with a comfortable waiting room. Twenty-nine spacious, well-lit private treatment rooms are appointed throughout the space, with the providers' station positioned front and center. Here, physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and other clinicians will collaborate to provide a personalized plan of care for each patient. Negative pressure rooms are located in the department, for isolation of infectious diseases such as COVID-19. The new Emergency Department also includes a behavioral health treatment pod for patients in psychiatric or behavioral health crisis. The latest edition CT Scanner-to help with early diagnosis of conditions such as strokes and impending heart attacks-is located within the department.

The referenced pay range is based on JHU APL's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level with consideration for internal parity. For salaried employees scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, annual salary will be prorated based on the number of hours worked. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance. Obtains referrals, authorization or pre-certification number if necessary to insure reimbursement in a timely fashion and avoid loss of revenue.
REQUIREMENTS:
Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School Diploma, GED equivalent or High School certificate.
