You would work shifts on Jan. 19 (MLK Day), Feb. 16-20 (Winter Break), March 30-April 3 (Spring Break) and Summer Camp (Optional). The pay rate is $16.50/Hour. The Position As an integral part of the member services team, our Camp Counselors inspire young members through movement, community, and personal attention. Responsibilities: Safety and Security of the passengers, crew and vessel. Prudent vessel watch keeping and safe vessel operations, adhering to company and regulatory standards. Comprehensive daily inspection of all vessel interior and exterior spaces. Supervision and Development of Third Mates, Engineers, and Deckhands. Execution of Vessel cleaning, sanitation, maintenance, and logistics. Execution of Crew orientation, training, watch standing, and emergency drills. Basic marine engineering knowledge of diesel machinery, hydraulics, and liquid load management. Excellent communication skills and team-building skills.
