Gail Schulman is a Chief Operating Officer at Gann Academy and Chief Executive Officer at Jewish Family and Children’s Services. She studied at Harvard University.

Katherine is the Chief Executive of Gateway Family Services a developer and provider of health and wider wellbeing services and one of Birmingham's first CIC's. As CEO she has steered the company through a challenging time of public sector cuts and a significant period of rebuilding. Having won significant contracts in the delivery of Lifestyle services, Social Prescribing and as one of city's neighbourhood leads the future looks bright. Previously Katherine worked in community development and area based regeneration. She led the Community Empowerment Theme of Sandwell's New Deal for Communities Programme (NDC) and more recently she was responsible for their Connecting Communities programme. Although her previous work has largely been in the public sector there was always a heavy focus on forging links with the voluntary and community sectors and on building their capacity, experience that was valuable when she moved to the third sector in 2011.
