Lisa Lewin is a Chief Executive Officer at General Assembly. She studied at Harvard Business School and Washington University in St. Louis.

Alberto Cavero is a Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, SVP at General Assembly and Summer Consultant at Boston Consulting Group and is based in Mexico City, Ciudad de México, Mexico. He has worked as Portfolio Strategy Manager at SABMiller, Marketing Finance & Revenue Manager at PROCTER & GAMBLE CO, and Senior Consultant - Ambassador Program at Boston Consulting Group. Alberto studied at IESE Business School between 2013 and 2015, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 2003 and 2003, and KELLOGG SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT between 2015 and 2015.

Some people are good with high-level business development, some with detailed product development. I’m the one who thrives doing both and can translate between the two. I speak B2B, product development and implementation, and market fit as easily as SaaS or Agile.



When I build something, I am the expert and the advocate and I transfer that excitement to my team. I helped produce Kaplan K+ Learning System and personally hand-delivered it on a countrywide tour to lead it to successful implementation. K+ is a blended learning program designed for adult English-language learners and one of Kaplan’s most well-received products. I am dedicated to user experience, implementation, and rollout to ensure products are highly successful.

I drove the development of KITE from concept to launch, on time and on budget. KITE is Kaplan’s English-language adaptive assessment system that tracks progress over multiple testing events. Now KITE has grown into own division. I skillfully balance product development and collaboration with global client management and sales.

My goal is to inspire and motivate my teams to achieve the impossible. I celebrate intelligence and talents. I have a passion for international education and believe that the world’s problems could be resolved with cross-cultural communication. It’s my mission to bring business and education together to allow for learning and growth for all, regardless of background. I’m interested in discussions about building partnerships, sharing resources, and becoming allies.
