High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Conducts component and product integration for the Aero derivative LM6000 product line. All activities that span multiple components and products and are concerned with how to integrate for maximum performance and operability. Manages product and systems requirements, specifications and flow down. Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing. Responsible for defining product requirements for the module / component / subcontractors and partners teams. Manages interface between components and cross functional execution organizations. Works closely with PSE, Design, Repair, Manufacturing , Projects, supply chain and the holistic systems organizations to meet the demands of our customer. Work with the Product Managers on engine platform technology needs aligned to the product strategy roadmap. Responsible for driving CTQ / Risk trades within the teams designing the components. Manages the overall product configuration and configuration control system. Manages a small to medium team of lead and senior professionals as well as others. Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation. Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work. Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. The Team Build Platform owns creating the build system and tooling that supports our AV and AI developers.
