Students MUST: have completed a financial aid file have need as determined by FAFSA be in "good" standing status according to GMC's Satisfactory Academic Policy have a High School Diploma/GED. Eligibility for participation in the FWS Program is determined by Financial Aid. If your financial aid file/FAFSA is not complete at the time that your application is submitted, there will be a delay processing your eligibility for the Program. To ensure quick turnaround time from when your application is submitted to when you're notified of your eligibility, it's recommended to check with your Campus Financial Aid Office and establish that your financial aid file is completed prior to applying. *FWS is a need-based program. If you are deemed eligible for participation in the FWS Program, please note that receiving any sort of student loan (or other form of Financial Aid not initially calculated in your file) after the initial award amount and/or eligibility has been determined by Financial Aid, your eligibility for participation in the FWS Program could potentially change, even if you are already working under the Program. This could mean an increase or decrease of aid award, or being deemed ineligible to participate in the FWS program. If you have questions about this, please contact your Campus Financial Aid office for clarification. Georgia Military College employees are required to enroll in direct deposit as the institution does not issue paychecks.
