Gershman Commercial Real Estate company history timeline
Founded in 1948 by the late Solon Gershman, Gershman Commercial Real Estate is the largest and longest-standing independent commercial real estate services company in the St Louis metro area.
In April 2005, Gershman merged with Follman Properties – ONCOR International, one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the St Louis area.
In November 2011, Gershman acquired Coldwell Banker Commercial’s property management division, integrating an experienced team, including Gregory Nooney, and a managed portfolio comprised of both local and institutional Landlord clients.
In 2013, after 65 years in operation as Solon Gershman Inc., the firm announced its vision for the future by rebranding as Gershman Commercial Real Estate.
In late 2019, Gershman acquired the property management and accounting divisions of Sachs Properties following the landmark leasing/management assignment of approximately 850,000 SF in Chesterfield, previously owned by the Sachs family.
