CEO, GoNoodle. GoNoodle is a transformational kids’ media and tech platform that gets kids moving and mindful, so they can be their smartest, silliest, strongest, bravest, bestest selves!

Also an entrepreneur, board member, and start-up advisor. Today, kids, families, and teachers use GoNoodle to integrate movement and mindfulness into their days with safe, active, fun screen time. Each month, more than 14 million kids, in millions of homes and four out of five U.S. public elementary schools, play GoNoodle. Teachers report that movement and mindfulness in the classroom lead to a 13% improvement in a healthy weight, a 37% decrease in classroom disciplinary events, and a 50% improvement in math scores.

Prior to running GoNoodle, KC founded Ametora Inc., a media & technology consultancy. Before that, KC ran CNN Digital worldwide. While in that role, he more than doubled the profitability of the operation, built ground-breaking partnerships with Twitter, Apple, Facebook, and Google. During his time there, he turned CNN into the largest social media news outlet in the world, more than doubled the user-base of CNN's digital products, and cultivated a culture of innovation and growth that became a model for large digital news operations everywhere.

Before CNN, KC worked at Disney where he oversaw digital operations for the kids & family cable networks of the Disney/ABC Television Group and helped pioneer many break-through innovations including the streaming of TV programs online.

He has deep expertise in large-scale digital publishing, editorial strategy, product design, business development, product development, technology, and operations including OTT, SVOD, on-demand, broadband, web-based, and mobile content platforms, as well as interactive television and virtual reality applications.

I am currently the CMO of GoNoodle, a Nashville-based media and technology company with a suite of active engagement products for kids and the adults who love them. Created by social-emotional learning experts, GoNoodle is used in millions of homes and four-out-of-five U.S. public elementary schools. Prior to GoNoodle, I was the CMO of Descartes Labs, a predictive intelligence company that uses geospatial data to predict supply and demand factors - like agricultural outputs or steel demand. Prior to Descartes Labs, I spent nearly two decades in agency PR at SHIFT Communications, Edelman, Weber Shandwick and the Benjamin Group - after which I was the founder/CEO of Inner Circle Labs, a marketing communications company focused on frontier technology, which I sold to Highwire Public Relations in Jan. 2018.

Kristie McCarthy is an Executive Assistant To Chief Executive Officer at GoNoodle and is based in Nashville, Tennessee. She has worked as Sr. Administrative Assistant at XPO Logistics (formerly Menlo), Assistant to EVP/Chief Investment Officer at Unum Group, and Executive Assistant at ENVISION HEALTHCARE CORP. Kristie attended Clayton State University until 1996, Brenau University between 1990 and 1992, and Brevard College between 1988 and 1990.

I'm the Chief Consumer Officer for GoNoodle, running the B2C division of the company, encompassing Product & Technology, Marketing & PR, and Content, Design, and Programming. Am also starting a clinical psychology graduate degree in the fall at CIIS, focused on Community Mental Health. I'm focusing my career on combing my background in tech, content strategy, and design, and pending studies in psychology to promote joy, self-discovery, and community mental health for kids and adults in our communities.
