Working closely with Design & Build teams, the Cloud Platform Architect defines and enforces platform standards and guardrails, supports workload onboarding, and ensures consistent adoption of approved designs in secure and sovereign client environments. This role combines architectural ownership with hands-on delivery, carrying end-to-end responsibility for multi-account AWS governance, platform automation, observability, EKS foundations, and cloud-native security, while actively contributing code and driving continuous platform improvement. These activities include the following: Job Responsibilities: Delivery * Lead the implementation of solutions in Oracle Cloud Financials ERP, providing oversight and hands-on contributions to the design, development and integration of the application. * Contribute to and support the enterprise design and integration solutions between Oracle Cloud ERP application and other enterprise systems. * Work closely and collaboratively with client stakeholders to understand their business requirements, provide strategic guidance and architect solutions that leverage the full capabilities of Oracle Cloud Financials. * Lead the design of comprehensive solutions leveraging expertise and the expertise of the team to ensure alignment with business needs and industry best practices. * Collaborate with the technical team to design and implement integrations between Oracle Cloud Financials and other 3rd party systems to ensure seamless data flow and operability. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including but not limited to developers, analysts, workstream leads, project managers and Oracle to deliver successful outcomes. * With workstream leads, configure Oracle Cloud applications to meet requirements utilizing built-in features. * Working with the technical team, ensure that that performance of the application is optimized through fine tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting. * Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure that the solution meets the function and technical requirements, security standards and business specifications. * Prepare functional documentation, including but not limited to architecture diagrams, designs specifications and user guides. * Build up best practices within the Oracle Cloud ERP Financials solutions (e.g. General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Expenses, Cash Management, Fixed Assets) Pre-sales/Sales * Facilitate initial discovery calls - assess and map customer needs to capabilities of the Oracle Cloud Financials applications * Support development of Proposals and Statements of Work * Conduct demos of Oracle Cloud Financials to prospective customers * Stay current with all service offerings - cross application, cross-geography * Stay current with Oracle products and offerings - attend conferences, webinars * Working closely with the Delivery Director and Sales Team, design and propose realistic, implementable solutions that incorporate client requirements, software capability and future directions. * Keep up with current releases, features and practices and share with team. * Act as senior client-facing advisor on designs and best practices. * This Job can be Performed from anywhere in the US. Required education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise * Post-secondary degree from an accredited institution (concentration in Finance or Accounting a plus) * 7-10 years of experience as a delivery consultant and at least 3 years' experience as a senior delivery lead or Solution Architect. Must be able to lead effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams. * Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Financials - GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, Expenses, Taxes. * Understanding of accounting processes and workflows and how it relates to the application and client business requirements. * Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify risks and issues and propose effective solutions using Oracle Cloud ERP. * Proficiency in configuring and customizing Oracle Cloud applications to meet specific client business requirements. * Advanced knowledge and experience of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) * Ability to work both as part of a team and independently with minimal instructions. * Strong time management and prioritization skills * Attention to detail. Preferred technical and professional experience . * Excellent communication and presentation skills - verbal and written.
