We are looking for a highly motivated MBA Intern with a strong interest in tech and venture capital to join our team for Winter/Spring. This role will be with the investment team, focusing on conducting market research, analyzing AI trends, building and implementing AI tools, and supporting our investment decisions in Series A stage technology companies.
The ideal candidate is passionate about startups and investing, has an understanding of artificial intelligence and related technologies, and is eager to apply their expertise in a fast-paced VC environment. The role is scoped for 15-20 hours per week with flexibility around scheduling and location.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Diligence & Product Assessment
Assist with market research and mapping of competitive landscape.
Develop an in depth technical product assessment framework (e.g., 1-5 scoring across UX, defensibility, roadmap, tech stack) and apply it to new deals.
Identify areas for automation and improved efficiency in the diligence process (building Pitchbook integrations, developing custom GPTs, etc).
2. Thesis‑Driven Sourcing & Research
Assist in deep dive of emerging sectors relevant to the fund's focus; track tailwinds, headwinds, relevant companies, investment opportunities and funding flows.
Build target company lists and assist in sourcing qualified leads.
Help develop external‑facing content-blog posts, newsletters, presentations-to position the fund as a thought leader.
3. Administrative & Pipeline Management
Maintain and continuously improve the fund's CRM, creating new company records, updating deal stages, and ensuring data hygiene.
Identify areas for automation, improving daily operations around founder communication, CRM management, and portfolio management.
