The Information Graphics Designer is a member of Pew Research Center's digital team.
Designers create eye-catching visuals that communicate the Center's findings across a range of editorial offerings. They use data visualization, interactivity, illustration, animation and photography to help the Center's research travel farther. This position reports to the associate director of design and production.
Primary Responsibilities
Design statistical charts using industry standard and in-house tools
Provide visual expertise and advice to Center researchers
Source and edit photos and illustrations
Design digital features and interactives
Develop engaging social media visuals (social first as well as adaptations)

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO

Exceptional design portfolio and strong background in a variety of markets with a particular focus on high-end workplace environments.
Strong typography skills.
Robust communication skills and proven strategies for collaborating in fast-moving, complex project teams.
Must have demonstrated skill and interest in 3-dimensional design, wayfinding, exhibition design and environments.
