    The Manufacturing Component Inventory Specialist is an integral role of Tower's Manufacturing Team! The Manufacturing Component Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing component inventory to ensure product availability for manufacturing processes and timely customer shipments, as well as becoming familiar with the inventory systems, manufacturing systems, and software for manufacturing/distribution systems. Inventory systems require bin location assignments and inventory management communication between manufacturing, warehouse, and returns. This position requires collaboration with the Manufacturing Manager, Work Order Coordinator, Brands Product Director, Department Heads, and Team Leaders to address production concerns. Key Responsibilities: Effectively network, negotiate, and collaborate with Purchasing and Returns regarding part and stock procurement in a professional manner to ensure the integrity of Tower. Effectively monitor inventory to meet all departments' in-house manufacturing, custom, & stock product needs. Send out emails of stock warnings. Generate, review, and assess reports to mitigate risk. Maintain records, ETA follow-ups, stock check, and build out procedural documentation. Ongoing management of outdated/old component inventory. Keep track of special non inventory items for Manufacturing. Support Manufacturing when resources are limited. Work with I.T. to support and build Manufacturing Jira, reports, and KPI process. Work with Brands to make sure inventory levels meet expectations of growth. Help start up programs/processes for hand-off at a later time. Manage short-term and long-term inventories for ease of use in Manufacturing. Pick components/products from inventory based on work order. Assemble/prepare components/products according to work order specifications. Distribute complete component/product bins to assigned technicians. Ensure accuracy for all kits picked. Communicate any component/product/inventory discrepancies. Seek Engineering assistance as necessary and where required. All employees are required to maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to all guidelines for safety, PPE, tool use, etc. All employees are required to read and follow the employee manual distributed by Tower Products Incorporated and the Quality Policy Statement. Job Summary: The Distribution Associate is responsible for warehousing/material distribution tasks relative to the shipment of products.
