The Aesthetic Medical Assistant - Support will act as liaison between front office and provider for ensuring timely and orderly client flow. This role will be responsible for back-office functions including client preparation, support of health care providers and clinic operations in a manager that promotes quality client care. The MA will report to the clinic manager, who will help determine provider support assignments to maximize clinic productivity. This role also includes assisting with rebooking and product sales to further enhance operational efficiency.
What You Will Do
* Provide exceptional service to our clients and team
* Support our Aesthetic specialists with patient intake and treatment prep and pre and post care
* Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments
* Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies
* Attend monthly trainings and meetings
* Knowledge of medical grade skincare products and services
* Assist with other duties as assigned
* Travel may be required to our other locations for training
* Ensure all charting and consents are completed
* Assist with social media content as directed by either clinic manager or provider
* Product sales
* Rebook appointments in the room
What You Will Bring
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* High School Diploma or GED
* Previous work experience as Medical Assistant
* 1+ years of customer or sales experience required; experience in an aesthetic setting preferred
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, peers and manager in a friendly and courteous manner
* Ability to multi-task while being attentive to clients and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
* Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
* Proficient with email and Word
* Availability to work evenings and weekends

* Prolonged periods of:
* Standing, bending or stooping
* Use of hands and arms to touch, handle, feel or control things including but not limited to tools, objects and/or controls
* Reaching with hands and arms
* Repeating of same movements
* Talking and hearing
* Occasional periods of:
* Sitting, crawling, kneeling, climbing or balancing
* Pushing/Pulling heavy objects and/or machinery
