What You Will Do:
The Director, Life Sciences Technology Consulting (Patient Services) is responsible for shaping and delivering innovative technology solutions that transform patient services for biopharma clients. This role combines deep domain expertise in patient services with advanced technology consulting capabilities to design, implement, and optimize digital platforms, data architectures, and operational models that enhance patient access, engagement, and outcomes. Operating at the intersection of strategy, technology, and operations, the Director partners with senior client stakeholders to define the technology vision, drive execution, and ensure measurable impact across patient services. Success in this position is measured by the ability to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing technology-enabled solutions that address complex patient needs and advance the client's commercial and patient-centric objectives. The Director is also accountable for achieving defined business development, sales, and revenue targets for Guidehouse.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of technology solutions for patient services, including digital engagement platforms, data integration architectures, and workflow automation tools.
Advise clients on technology strategy, platform selection, and implementation roadmaps to optimize patient services and patient support programs (e.g., access, affordability, adherence, education, and reimbursement).
Oversee the integration of advanced analytics, AI/ML, and automation into patient services operations to drive efficiency, personalization, and actionable insights.
Manage project teams and client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and thought leader in patient services technology transformation.
Drive business development by proactively identifying and pursuing new opportunities, leading the sales process for patient services technology consulting, and being directly accountable for meeting sales and revenue targets for Guidehouse.
Mentor and develop consulting staff, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving patient needs to inform solution ideation and offering development.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is valued.
Minimum 10 years of experience in technology consulting, patient services, or digital health, with a track record of delivering complex solutions in biopharma or healthcare.
Deep understanding of patient services strategy, technology, data, and operations.
Proven experience designing and implementing technology platforms (e.g., CRM, patient portals, analytics dashboards).
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage senior client relationships.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business recommendations.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Advanced degrees in a relevant field (MBA, MS, MPH, PhD, or similar).
Experience with AI/ML, automation, and digital transformation initiatives in patient services.
Prior consulting experience with top-tier firms or in a biopharma technology leadership role.
Expertise in program management, platform design, and solution implementation.

The annual salary range for this position is $226,000.00-$376,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Financial Analysis & Due Diligence
Assist the investment team in conducting due diligence and initial site analysis for potential acquisitions.
Support the creation and maintenance of financial models, proformas, and development budgets.
Help with the underwriting process for new development opportunities.
Coordinate project due diligence for investors, lenders, and federal, state, or local funding sources.
Gather and organize documentation required for financial closings with lenders and investors.
Team & Consultant Coordination
Coordinate and manage the activities of various project contractors and consultants, including architects, engineers, construction managers, attorneys, and specialized consultants. Coordinate with outside consultants for environmental assessments, market studies, etc.
Assist in drafting and negotiating contract terms and scope with design consultants and contractors.
Serve as a central point of contact, ensuring consistent communication and understanding among all internal and external team members regarding the project plan, budget, and schedule.
Engagement & Administration
Assist in stakeholder engagement and outreach, such as planning, hosting, facilitating, or presenting at public meetings.
Assist with the formulation of early marketing campaigns and the preparation of materials for investors, social media, or other collateral.
Perform necessary administrative duties such as drafting correspondence (memos, reports, letters), maintaining critical issues lists, and organizing team meetings.
Collaborate with program associates to plan and host groundbreakings, grand openings, or other events.
Assist with process improvement, e.g., standardizing and establishing SOPs, creating or improving development checklists, and organizing electronic files.
Support public outreach and stakeholder engagement, which can include preparing for and attending public meetings.
Qualifications and Skills
A minimum of a bachelor's degree and two years' work experience; graduate degree in related field preferred; OR equivalent years of work experience in urban planning, housing development, real estate development, business, finance, or a related field.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal housing financing programs.
Proficiency with computer programs and spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal real estate documents.
Strong math and analytical abilities. Ability to conduct financial analysis and prepare budgets.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in an organized, efficient, and timely manner and successfully meet project deadlines.
Strong verbal communication skills and clear writing ability.
Ability to initiate and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with colleagues, consultants, and development team members.

Job Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for next generation Integrated Product Support (IPS) landscape which includes Teamcenter, Cortona 3D, SLICwave, and more. The candidate must be a self-starter, have the ability to balance daily operations as well as project work, and should possess diverse technical experience, business acumen, and strong customer service skills.
Job Responsibilities:
• Own Teamcenter Administration for the enterprise, consulting with business leaders and application users to deliver technical and functional solutions
• Lead activities to design, build, and test delivery systems and components for IPS suite of applications including Teamcenter, Cortona 3D, and SLICwave, among others
• Assist the IT PLM admin team with support of other engineering applications as needed including patching, upgrades, and end-user support tasks
• Deliver creative solutions with a focus on mitigating recurring issues and limiting manual troubleshooting tasks
• Collaborate with IT peers to ensure adherence to security controls, vulnerability management, hardware/software currency, and reporting requirements
• Provide quick and efficient support of incidents and outages
• Deliver direct and responsive communication to business users in support of issues, planned maintenance activities, and project updates
• Work effectively with process owners and SMEs to understand business requirements
• Create/update support documentation, ensuring accuracy and appropriate detail
Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or similar is required
Position Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience with application and Windows server administration
• 5+ years of Teamcenter system administration
• Experience implementing and upgrading Teamcenter
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex issues to diverse audiences
• Good understanding of user authentication (e.g., Kerberos, SAML 2.0, LDAP, etc.)
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capable of adapting to a dynamic work environment, solving problems, and learning new skills/technologies on the fly
• Temp to Perm
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with development, collaboration, and testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Git, SVN, etc.)
• Exposure to Logistics Systems and/or Service Bill of Material
• Basic understanding of databases
• Familiarity with Linux OS
• Strong organizational, analytical, multitasking, and time management skills
