Benjamin Bordelon
Bollinger Shipyards

Benjamin G. Bordelon, is the President, Chief Executive Officer of Bollinger Shipyards, LLC. Bordelon is the grandson of Donald Bollinger who founded Bollinger Shipyards in 1946 and the third generation to lead the company. Bordelon joined Bollinger in 2000 as a Project Manager and has held a series of managerial positions throughout various Bollinger locations. Prior to being named Chief Executive Officer, Bordelon was Executive Vice President of Repair from 2002 to September of 2013. In September of 2013, Bordelon served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer until December of 2014 when he assumed his current position. Bordelon is active in many professional and community organizations. He is Chairman of the Shipbuilders Council of America and an active board member of the Offshore Marine Service Association, Tiger Athletic Foundation, Young Presidents’ Organization, and the United States Coast Guard Foundation. He supports many charities, schools and churches in his community and beyond. Bordelon holds a B.S. in Business from Louisiana State University. While at LSU, he played football and was named Captain of the team in 1996. He garnered All-SEC recognition at LSU and was a member of the San Diego Chargers professional football team until his retirement in December 1999. Bordelon resides in Raceland, Louisiana with his wife, Gemi, and their three children.
