DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The individual will perform a variety of duties related to the operation and maintenance of the Flight Optical Landing System and equipment such as: Operate diagnostic and other test equipment related to the PAPI maintenance repair cards (MRC), Solar Taxiway Light manufacturers maintenance specifications; research and identify parts from catalogs or online; perform maintenance, repair, overhaul and replacement of parts related to the operation of PAPI equipment and Taxi Solar way lights; and be able to operate a forklift, shop vehicles and all associated equipment. Ability to work independently to maintain the PAPI system and perform Corrective Maintenance actions as needed Familiarity with inspecting equipment at specified intervals; determining operational status; repairing mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies; tuning, aligning, and adjusting equipment; performing operational checks; maintaining inspection and maintenance records.
