    Test, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electrical measuring and test equipment. Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, and requirements. Performs necessary diagnostic analysis of non-conforming test equipment to determine failure root cause. May verify the capability of test equipment and other controlled processes. Support engineering groups with electrical calibration direction in accordance with used or applicable standards. Performs necessary administrative tasks in Quality management software for calibration documentation and recall. Essential Functions: Perform calibration on a wide variety of electrical inspection equipment IAW calibration procedures, ANSI Z540.1, ANSI Z540.3, ISO 10012, ISO 17025 and internal procedures. Review work backlog daily, plan lab activities and establish priorities to meet customer needs and Calibration Lab Key Process Indicators. Ensure that gages found with an out-of-tolerance condition are properly evaluated and documented with regards to whether or not there is any significant impact or any effected product. Ensure measurement standards used by Metrology Lab for calibrating Measuring and Testing Equipment (M&TE), and other measurements standard, shall be traceable to NIST, or other appropriate authorities, and shall have the accuracy, stability, range and resolution required for the intended use. Follow established L-3Harris policies, procedures, and instructions to ensure compliance and quality. Coordinate calibration of all gage types; including internal and external calibrations mechanical devices. Preparation of written calibration procedures and instructions as needed to support calibration activities. Entering and maintaining calibration records within on-line calibration system. Operate manual and computerized inspection equipment. Perform routine maintenance on test and/or measuring equipment as required. Disassemble, inspect and perform minor repair of inspection equipment if required. Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 4 years of prior related experience. Knowledge of Electrical test procedures, Electro-Mechanical assemblies and inspection. Four years' minimum experience in calibration and six years' minimum experience in a technical environment related to required skill sets, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Six years' minimum experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 2 years minimum experience setting up and calibrating electrical test equipment. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience in TIPQA software. Working knowledge of ISO-17025 Experience with AS9100 requirements. Solid Microsoft EXCEL skills. Working knowledge of standard electrical test methodology. Mechanical calibration experience a plus.

We are seeking an Engineer to join our space and sensors team. The role will involve being the primary manufacturing technical support for our space manufacturing programs. In this role you will be responsible for support of all assembly and build processes. Ideal candidates must be able to work in a highly regulated build space and work with complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies. Essential Functions: Support the generation of equipment operating instructions. Support the technical needs of the production staff on mechanical, electro-mechanical, and semiconductor equipment. Responsible for supporting the designing and development of manufacturing tools and processes. Work cross functionally with manufacturing, quality, and design communities. Support the department engineers on troubleshooting equipment failures. Displays a high level of independence and personal accountability to meet company and personnel deadlines, including capital procurement. Support the troubleshooting of electro-optical equipment and maintaining preventative maintenance initiatives. Support projects including capital procurement and installation. Qualifications: Requires a 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. or 4 years post-Secondary/Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. 4 years or more experience supporting engineers for production readiness reviews. 4 years or more experience in procurement support and installation of capital equipment. 4 years or more experience in demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude and passion for continued learning. 4 years or more experience in strong time management and interpersonal communication skills. 4 years or more experience in prioritizing, multi-tasking, working independently, and adapting to sudden changes in plans. 4 years or more experience with Microsoft Office Suites. 4 years or more experience in conducting data analysis. Experience with a Maintenance Management System (i.e. J.D. Edwards/eMaint) Must be a United States Citizen. Preferred Additional Skills: Associate or B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical or Electro-Mechanical technology is preferred. Strong assembly skills is a plus. 4 years or more experience interfacing across various teams and functions. 4 years or more experience in supporting and conducting trials. Familiarity with electro-mechanical systems is a plus. Familiarity with semiconductor equipment is a plus.
