The F135 Lighting Sustainment Center Team seeks an F135 on-site Data/Business Analytics Manager/ Project Engineer at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH, facility. This individual will perform as an integral F-35 Sustainment Reliability Analytics Team member and be a technical interface for performance metric reporting.
This position will be located at Wright Patterson AFB and be fully integrated with the East Hartford Data Analytic teams and align fleet sustainment recommendations through the Government LSC team in direct liaison and collaboration with F-35 Joint Program Office as well as industry personnel (LM, NGC, BAE & RR).
The successful candidate will analyze F135 sustainment system performance degraders, including sustainment Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements, maintenance procedures, and system trends experienced in the field. Primary responsibilities will include analyzing performance data to identify critical items degrading fleet performance and converting the information into a presentable format to required stakeholders.
The candidate will address sustainment improvement initiatives at a systems level, analyzing impacts on the propulsion system performance and conducting lower-level root cause analysis where appropriate to determine actionable solution sets. The candidate will maintain open lines of communication to provide a proactive interface with stakeholders on performance metric reporting. The candidate will be a self-starter, manage time appropriately, and can establish and maintain a library of technical performance reporting.

The Aerodynamics Staff Engineer will report to the Turbine Aerodynamics Manager and be responsible for leading the design of GE Aerospace's next generation of turbine components and associated technologies. **Job Description**
**Essential Responsibilities**
+ Lead the aerodynamic design and analysis of high- and low-pressure turbine components
+ Perform advanced aero-thermal computational fluid dynamics analyses under the supervision of a project leader or controlled title holder.
+ Drive the development of advanced aerodynamic technology to improve engine performance and durability
+ Cultivate advanced skills in aerodynamic design, including use of cutting-edge numerical and experimental techniques
+ Draw conclusions from component and engine test data to validate aerodynamic designs
+ Develop analytical tools/software to improve aerodynamic design and predictive capabilities
+ Formulate and execute plans to achieve technical and program requirements
+ Develop lean processes to improve organizational productivity and efficiency
+ Execute trade studies to meet project requirements, collaborating with horizontal organizations
+ Leads program issue resolution efforts to meet customer and/or regulatory expectations across organization
+ Strong coaching, mentoring, and training skills within the domain, site, or organization, with a focus on engaging early-career personnel.
**Qualifications/Requirements**

+ Master's Degree from an accredited college/university in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline with an emphasis in aerodynamics, aero-thermal, or aeromechanics and a minimum of 6 years of relevant technical experience.
OR
+ PhD from an accredited college/university in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline with an emphasis in aerodynamics, aero-thermal, or aeromechanics and a minimum of 4 years of relevant technical experience.
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Master's Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering relevant to turbomachinery aerodynamics with minimum of 6 years of engineering experience OR Doctorate Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering focused on aerodynamics/compressible flows
+ Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and/or aerodynamic testing techniques
+ Self-starter, utilizing innovative problem solving to drive solutions on complex issues
+ Flexible, friendly, and inclusive; comfortable working in multi-disciplinary global teams
+ Demonstrated group facilitation and collaboration skills
+ Exceptional communication skills, comfortable preparing and giving impactful technical presentations
+ Highly motivated and passionate
+ Keen listener and innately driven to succeed
