2006

2006 Harvest Food & Outreach opened an additional 18,000 square foot facility in St Lucie County and a North Vero Center which both serve an additional 300-500 families at each location per day!

2015

In August 2015, Community Harvest became the first regional food bank in the United States to open a blanch, chill, and freeze produce preservation facility.

In 2015, the Indian River County nonprofit provided a total of 162,144 services, including crisis counseling, case management, education, subsidized food assistance, employment training and placement, and personal empowerment training.

2020

In the months following the March 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, Second Harvest saw a 26 percent increase in need in the community.
