OBJECTIVES:
As directed by the supervisor and/or group leader, perform functions to fulfill orders for shipment to customers. This may include but is not limited to customer service support, replenishment, cycle counting, picking, packing, and manifesting. Employee may be trained in any or all of the required disciplines depending on business needs. Employee must work all assigned hours and may also be required to perform other duties as directed by the supervisor and/or group leader.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Follow prioritized assignments, providecustomer service support, and ensure the completion of order fulfillment (picking, packing, manifesting), maintain inventory through putaway, breakdowns, replenishment, and cycle count in a timelymanner, meeting or exceeding productivity and quality standards.
+ Cabinet building - perform physical picking, receiving, building, packing, and shipping of fitset kits according to SOPs and as prioritized. Must meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
+ Workareacleaning-Cleanassignedwork area on a daily basis including sweeping, dusting, trash/box disposal, general straightening, etc.
+ Error Review- as necessary, perform review and correction of unfulfilled orders having discrepancies to record and assign any errors.
Perform daily work assignments including, but not limited to, order fulfillment and proper maintenance of inventory in Lynchburg. Follow all security, safety, and quality standards.
Must maintain successful work relationships with Quality, Inventory Control, and Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Six months of distribution or warehouse experience and basic PC knowledge.
+ Familiar with RF Technology and forklift experience a plus.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
The **Forklift Operator** receives, stores, picks and dispenses raw materials and/or finished products. Coordinates timely accurate flow of materials from warehouse inventory to work-in-process/production areas. Coordinates timely accurate flow of finished products to support shipments to customers and other destinations. Responsible for loading and unloading of material with the use of a forklift.
**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
+ Safely operate a forklift and able to efficiently use the Cambar (warehouse management system)
+ Via use of Cambar radio frequency inventory system, the employee stores, picks or assembles finished product for shipment.
+ Understand and properly utilize ship orders and associated Columbus Distribution Center paperwork and RF terminals for shipping/receiving finished product and returns
+ Maintain proper FIFO flow of finished products (may include operation of a forklift truck with a push-pull attachment)
+ Store, pick or assemble finished product for shipment using the Cambar radio frequency inventory system
+ Check materials against packaging lists, invoices, freight bills or other pertinent documentation to assure conformity and accuracy
+ Effectively process shipments in a timely manner, using operating systems within the Columbus Distribution Center
+ Maintain proper FIFO flow of finished products (may include operation of a forklift truck with a push-pull attachment)
+ Verify the commodity number, quantity, release status and lot numbers
+ Accountable for personal safety and adhering to the safety guidelines. Must communicate safety concerns to Columbus Distribution Center leadership & follow up to assure the concerns are addressed.
+ This position is accountable for complying with applicable FDA (GMP), USDA, OSHA and Abbott regulations, policies, procedures or guidelines.

Work Order Fulfilling:
• Prepare, package, and deliver work orders as requested by Manufacturing leadership
• Fulfill shortages from work orders as material arrives via PO receipt process.

• Verify accuracy of orders, quantities, and lot/serial information.
Receiving:
• Perform the below duties as a back-up/cross-trained resource
• Receive inbound materials, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, discrepancies, and quality requirements; escalate issues as needed.
• Enter receipts and inventory movements into ERP systems with high accuracy.
• Route received items to appropriate departments or storage locations.

• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, scanners, and other equipment.
