What Are Your Responsibilities?
This position is responsible for actively participating in an internship program that leverages your skills, knowledge and capabilities supporting the infrastructure AV team while exposing you to different methodologies and tools. This role will assist with applying emerging technologies to assist with developing best-in-class systems and events for our clients and workforce. Working closely with cross-functional teams in both our business and technical areas, the AV Infrastructure Engineering Intern is responsible for learning specific aspects of the processes, programs, and technology in the field of video conferencing and live event production. Additional project support, administrative tasks, and ad hoc requests to support business needs.
This role will also need to:
Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
Create a final internship PowerPoint presentation to share with department leadership covering the internship experience, the assigned project over the course of the summer, including the results along with any solutions or recommendations that can be leveraged by the department in the future.
What Do You Need To Be Successful?
Experience with AV technology, platforms or tools is a strong plus
Interest in video production, audio, broadcast, media or photography
Comfortability with signal flow of audio and video systems
Familiarity with live audio and video production workflows
Demonstrated interpersonal skills including clear and concise verbal and written communication.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and an ability to grasp new and unfamiliar concepts.

What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?
Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in visual communications, multimedia arts, audio, broadcasting, computer engineering, electronics engineering technology, information systems, or other related degrees.
Graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer (June - August)
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Get familiar with entering pre/post pour in Concrete Vision (CV), an internal production database
Check forms during pre-pour
Start to get familiar with mix designs, finishes, NCR's, and metrics
Work proficiently with mix designs and finishes
Pour samples
Enter and use NCR/metrics to work on root cause and continuous improvement
Conduct site visits when problems arise and determine root cause, then report to operations and help develop new processes, and procedures
Work to develop new metrics to help with lowering NCR where needed

Under supervision in the Construction Section, student will receive training in proper procedures for inspection of work being done by contractors (e.g. widening and resurfacing projects, safety upgrading, signing, guardrail, intersections, drainage facilities, forms and reinforcing steel, concrete placement on structures, flexible and rigid pavement). Assists project engineer in the inspection of bituminous plants, performs test on concrete and soils, and in any required surveying to verify field measurements. Performs support functions in record keeping, maintains accurate data of work performed, organizes materials, and compiles information to assist in report preparation.
Under supervision in the Environmental Section, assists the Environmental staff with projects & documentation by utilizing the computer & related software (e.g., internet, web pages for ODOT, Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); ELLIS, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook) to research information (e.g., National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Environmental Justice Maps, Categorical Exclusions, upcoming projects, submerged land leases, lake lines, city limits), to pull maps, generate reports, create lists (e.g., public involvement requirements, mussel stream) & data bases (e.g., permits, flood plain).
MUST BE ENROLLED IN A COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY PROGRAM AND IN GOOD ACADEMIC STANDING. (Civil Engineering)
Must show proof of valid driver's license to operate state vehicle.
