Job Summary:
As a Medical Assistant at Associated Nephrology Consultants, you will play a vital role in providing efficient and compassionate patient care in a nephrology practice setting. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic and deliver exceptional service to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with patient examinations, performing routine clinical tasks, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing support in various administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and nurses in the examination and treatment of patients, ensuring patient comfort and privacy.
Obtain and record patient vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints accurately.
Prepare examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
Perform basic clinical procedures such as venipuncture, lab draws, and urine sample collection while following established protocols and safety guidelines.
Collect and process laboratory specimens, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Send lab results by fax to the providers named in the patient's chart and send labs by mail to patients if specified in the patient's record.
Manage patient flow and maintain efficient patient records management as well as updating histories of patients as required.
If any records from outside clinics are obtained, scan them into the patient's chart to include lab results and general orders.
Perform administrative duties such managing medical records and answering and triaging incoming calls.
Assist with inventory management, placing orders for necessary medical supplies as well as cleaning supplies.
Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred.
Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
Proven experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining medical records and documentation.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.

Job Summary
The Care Coordinator / Medical Assistant provides both administrative and clinical support to individuals and families seeking care at Plymouth Psych Group. Duties & Responsibilities
Care Coordination & Administrative Duties
Greets all patients and verifies demographic and insurance information for accuracy.
Assists patients and family members with completion of pre-registration and intake forms.
Schedules, reschedules, and coordinates appointments, including last-minute and urgent scheduling needs.
Reviews no-call/no-show accounts and contacts patients to reschedule appointments.
Answers phones, screens callers, relays messages, and routes calls to appropriate departments.
Checks voicemail every 30 minutes to ensure timely response to patient messages.
Confirms callbacks, reschedules appointments, and communicates no-show/late cancellation policies.
Maintains, files, and updates patient charts, orders, demographics, and other documentation; shreds outdated information per policy.
Informs patients of costs of care and collects copays, coinsurance, and deductibles.
Posts payments according to protocol; prepares and balances daily financial registers and submits documentation to billing.
Maintains physician and provider schedules within the Practice Management system.
Assists with filing and other administrative support needs as assigned.
Medical Assistant Duties
Rooms patients and prepares them for appointments in a timely and professional manner.
Obtains and documents vital signs, height, weight, and other relevant clinical information as appropriate.
Assists providers with clinical workflows, including pre-visit preparation and post-visit follow-up tasks.
Updates medication lists, allergies, and patient histories in the electronic health record (EHR).
Prepares exam rooms and ensures rooms are stocked, clean, and organized.
Assists with coordination of lab orders, referrals, prior authorizations, and documentation as directed.
Provides patients with instructions, educational materials, and follow-up guidance per provider direction.
Communicates patient concerns or clinical observations to providers promptly and accurately.
Supports telehealth visits by assisting with patient check-in, documentation, and troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Understanding of HIPAA and the importance of confidentiality.

Outpatient Mental Health Therapist
MidWest Center is seeking a self-motivated and dedicated outpatient mental health therapist full-time or part-time to provide therapy for adults, adolescents, families, and couples. We are currently accepting applications for our St. Paul and Burnsville locations, with hybrid telehealth options available.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapy services to clients, ensuring high-quality and compassionate care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including school staff, families, case managers, and medical professionals, to coordinate care.
Engage in ongoing professional development and uphold ethical standards in clinical practice.
Requirements:
Master's degree in a behavioral health field (social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy).
Fully licensed or on track for licensure as an LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LPC in the state of MN.
Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and clinical case documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries while demonstrating mental resilience.
Proficiency with electronic health records and telehealth platforms.
