The General Manager (GM) is responsible for directing the daily activities of the warehouse operation. The GM is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Operations Department.
Primary Responsibilities:
Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline associates

Ensure the warehouse operates at maximum efficiency, meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, accuracy, and inventory turnover.
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
Responsible for all department managers and supervisors, with review/approval responsibility for all operations associates
Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to equipment quality, customer service, or accidents and mishaps on-site.
Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints
Work closely with the Corporate Operations Team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation.
Work closely with the inventory manager and team to perform analysis of our inventory and ensure we are utilizing our inventory effectively, purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solid inventory data and reduce sub-rental expenses
Analyze financial performance regularly, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
Communicate with safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and other governmental regulations
Ensure all team members are properly trained in safety protocols, company policies, and best practices for warehouse management.

What will I do as a Youth Residential Worker with Genacross?
Supervise, engage, and positively interact with youth with emotional and/or behavioral difficulties in a home-like environment.
Develop and facilitate behavioral programming for the resident in the home.
Accurately record data on individual residents, including daily observations and information about activities, behaviors and social interactions with peers.
Teach and assist residents in activities of daily living including self-care habits such as eating, hygiene, etc.
Plan, organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games, painting, drawing, crafts, singing, sports, etc.
Perform household responsibilities to include preparing food for residents, general cleaning, and minor maintenance necessary to keep youth safe.
Assist with teaching social and independent living skills to youth.
Provide coping skills to youth so situations don't reach a high level or risk and cause a crisis.
Verbally de-escalate situations as needed and use approved physical crisis intervention as a last resort to keep residents and staff safe.
Utilize trauma informed treatment approaches in all interactions with youth.
Contribute to a positive work environment by following Genacross' mission and vision statements.
Communicate with and provide information to co-workers and supervisors to help create a safe environment for residents and staff by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Attend individual youth treatment planning meetings, scheduled staff meetings, and trainings as required.
Provide shift coverage as needed and in emergencies.
Performs other job duties as assigned.
