Support the floor team by transferring your know how and knowledge to the operation team. * Interact with all departments to resolve any production issues. * Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. * Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of machine production machines. * Read and interpret electrical drawings, equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. * Enter all work orders into CMMS system. * Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. * Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary determined based on the needs of the business Job Requirements * Associates degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university preferred, not required. * Electronics certification or equivalent experience required * 4+ years of experience in manufacturing experience preferred; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills. * Knowledge of MES and Ladder Logic. * General knowledge of the English language, grammar, and strong communication skills. * Knowledge of continuous improvement process in a LEAN environment. * This job operates solely in a factory setting. Job Summary-CP-1 Certified Perform basic field testing of corrosion control systems on underground and submerged metallic structures. Recommend troubleshooting tests and identify when such testing is required. Responsibilities Core Responsibilities Work independently, make field decisions without direct supervision and be responsible for obtaining field data to determine condition of structures under evaluation. Compile and submit field data for senior staff review. Be familiar with standard survey and construction practices for corrosion control projects. Estimate duration for both engineering and construction projects. Organize and perform multiple small projects simultaneously. Develop test procedures for complex troubleshooting. Evaluate field data and prepare draft reports for the area supervisor. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Have a current certification with AMPP (formerly NACE International) as a Cathodic Protection Tester CP-1 Certification 1-3 years (minimum) experience in corrosion control industry particularly related to cathodic protection work. Government contracts require U.S. Citizenship Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as interact with team members, clients and management staff. Ability/willingness to travel as required for the job. Clean driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle This position may require significant time standing or walking on uneven ground, possible climbing of ladders or being in high places, working in tight spaces, lifting up to 60 pounds, and, in general, being overall physically demanding. It may also require work in an all-weather environment. Physical Demands and Work Environment This position may require significant time standing or walking on uneven ground, possible climbing of ladders or being in high places, working in tight spaces, lifting up to 50 pounds, and, in general, being overall physically demanding.
