Job Description
The Interventional Radiology Technologist will perform various special and scrub procedures, utilizing advanced imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, Philips, Siemens, and ultrasound. The position requires a focus on patient care and a thorough understanding of interventional radiology techniques.
Responsibilities
Perform interventional radiology procedures including accessing/managing ports, catheter exchanges, and embolizations.
Maintain sterile environments and assist in various surgical preparations and procedures.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and social services for optimal patient outcomes.
Use advanced imaging techniques and equipment to ensure precise and safe procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology and special procedures.
Valid New Jersey License (must obtain prior to start).
BS degree required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
