Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, respectful, and compassionate medical care
Perform physical examinations upon admission and on an ongoing basis
Participate in comprehensive care planning and discharge planning

Provide clinical guidance, education, and support to staff
Develop, review, and uphold medical policies related to resident care
Assist with preparation for regulatory agency site visits

Manage prescribing responsibilities, including evaluating, adjusting, and discussing medication changes with residents

RequirementsFor Attending Physicians (MD/DO):
Active medical license
DEA registration in good standing
Current with CME requirements
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance standards
Prior experience in skilled nursing or high-acuity settings preferred
Demonstrated leadership and cultural sensitivity
For Nurse Practitioners (NP):
Board-Certified NP
Strong skills in assessment, teamwork, communication, and infection control
Ability to maintain thorough and timely documentation

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking On-Call Residential Aides to support our transitional shelter. Unlike set-schedule staff, On-Call Residential Aides must be flexible and available to cover any shift as needed: 12am - 8am, 8am - 4pm, or 4pm - 12am. The Residential Aides ensure that the participants of the transitional shelter are safe, monitor access to the facility, maintain an accurate count of the number of people in the facility, provide hourly tours of the facility, and maintain confidentiality of the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This work involves responsibility for the performance of clerical duties in a school health office and assisting the School Nurse with health related services including health screenings and emergency care. Incumbents of this position may also be employed to provide one-on-one service for students with special needs. The work is performed under the general supervision of a School Nurse, with more direct supervision from instructors and therapists in matters regarding health-related procedures. The work involves direct, daily contact with students. Supervision over others is not normally a responsibility of this job.
FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of office terminology, procedures and equipment; knowledge of routine health screening procedures; ability to perform light typing duties that do not require a qualified typist; ability to establish rapport with and communicate ideas to students, parents and other school personnel ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; ability to maintain classroom management systems; ability to work independently; personal characteristics necessary to perform the duties of the position; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
