What will I be doing?
As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you would be responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
Seat guests and manage the seating chart
Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
Perform opening and closing duties, as needed
Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
Ensure knowledge of menu
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships

Summary:
The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guest(s) and seating them at an appropriate table before they are introduced to their server. The Host/Hostess may perform a variety of other tasks within a restaurant establishment which may include ringing up orders, refilling beverages, setting tables, and cleaning eating/serving areas; performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. Position Summary
The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests in accordance OVG standards. This role ensures all banquet and event setups are executed accurately and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail throughout service. The Banquet Server sets up and maintains food and beverage stations, and delivers fine dining-level service in a professional and friendly manner. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. Candidates must be able to lift and carry trays, work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, and maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for both guests and team members.
This role pays an hourly rate of $12.00 to $16.00 and is tip eligible

Responsibilities
Ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
Ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met.
Setup and maintain both food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
Maintain and inventory for both food and beverage stations.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $14.00-$15.00.

Responsibilities
* Refill all drinks and beverages.
* Remove dishes and glasses from table and take them to the kitchen or breakdown station.
* Remove and replace table linens and service settings as required.
* Clean and arrange workstations, chairs, and table pieces.
* Refill salt, pepper, sugar, cream, and condiment containers.
* Give menu descriptions to customers, and answer questions regarding preparation.
* Memorize or write down special orders from customers.
* Relay orders to the chef or kitchen.
* Serve meals to customers or direct customers to buffets.
* Observe customers to find out if anything else is needed.
* Determine when the meal and beverages have been finished.
* Work safely to promote safe work environment for self and co-workers.
* Perform other side work duties as required.
* Be sure that all details of the job are performed, and the work is accurate.
Qualifications
* Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
* Ability to speak clearly so that listeners may understand.
* Must be able to make fast, simple, repeated movements of fingers, hands and wrists.
* Able to multi-task.
* Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects.
* Must have strong communication skills.
* Must be able to understand and follow instructions and follow through with tasks and shifts as assigned.
* Knowledge of providing special services to customers based on their needs.
* Knowledge of the rules and uses of numbers including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and statistics.
* Work experience in events, banquets or restaurants.
* High school diploma or equivalent GED. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
